This
is a besom that came from my imagination and
inspired by the Celtic Gods that I love so
much! Different shades of green ribbon spiral
down the handle, which is topped by a
beautiful large rough emerald stone. She
currently resides in my studio, providing me
with inspiration :) |

This
is yet another custom order. A very
REGAL besom with personal symbols carved and
burned into the top of the handle, fire burned
black the rest of the way down to the brush,
and a beautiful combination of black,
burgundy, gold and silver ribbon. |

I
made this besom for a good friend who isn't
wiccan, as a decoration for her home. It
is about 3 feet long, and is absolutely lovely
with a very full brush! |

Here
are the four besoms that I made to sell at
Pagan Pride Day in 2004. The top picture is the Black
handle, the bottom picture is the 'Samhain
Besom' flanked by two uncarved handled brooms,
one was uniquely stained and the other was
smoothed and then antiqued. |

My
most recently commissioned besom...and the very
essence of elegance...this besom has a black
handle that was turned and burned over candle
flame.

Here is a really nice example of a custom order. Wiccan rede burned into the handle, pretty purple, blue and black ribbon, and a braided ribbon hanging thong this besom is personal to it's last detail. |

With a very personal inscription, long handle and VERY full brush, this besom is really amazing! One of my personal faves to date!! |

This is the most intricate handle I've made, with carving from the tip top straight down to the brush. There are also two beautiful stones set into the top of the handle. Absolutely gorgeous colors finished this piece off and it is truly lovely! |

This besom was custom ordered, with blue, black and silver ribbon. The handle has the Wiccan Rede burned in Theban, a pentacle carved into a natural knot in the wood, ribbon and silk cord spiraling the length, and a hanger made of braided ribbon to match the overall theme. |

Here is a besom I made for a recent Beltane wedding. It is a truly beautiful and personal piece, using the colors the bride chose for her handfasting in the ribbon, birthstones set into the handle, and their personal inscription in Theban. This besom measures just over 4 feet in length. |

This is my besom, shown as an example of the details that can make your besom totally unique. Carved in the handle is a spiral, a pentacle, God and Goddess symbols, astrological symbols, and a small garnet in the very top. The hanger is hemp braided with white cat eye beads. |

This is a small decorative besom that I made to compliment my shrine to
Brighid. It's about 36 inches in length, made from grasses and ribbon. I can make smaller decorative besoms with broomcorn as well. |

|
This is my daughter's besom. It's handle is carved and burned with runes and a pentacle, stained dark and decorated with blue, yellow and purple ribbons. This besom is 42 inches
long. It is not for sale, but an example of a young girl's besom. |

|
This is my handfasting besom. I did not make this one, it was made for me and is still one of my most treasured
possesions, and it has served as inspiration in many ways. It is decorated in green, black and white ribbons, leather and a sparkled finish on the handle. I simply adore it, and would be most happy to custom make a besom for your handfasting, or as a very personal gift for that special someone! |
